The History of Form-U-Share

Form-U-Share was developed by author and owner Jon Nevins as the "TVA Blend Package" during his 30 years with the National Fertilizer Center. When the Fertilizer Center was closed the technology that was developed during those years at TVA was then transferred to FUS Support, Inc.  In 2008 we are celebrating our 15th anniversary of development, training, and technical support for Form-U-Share software as FUS Support, Inc.

Form-U-Share was created to help fertilizer dealers formulate and blend specific materials using a set of rules and boundaries. Its primary rule is that it must always do business at the lowest possible cost. From here, FUS operates within a set of boundaries, such as giving the farmer at least the amount of nutrients he ordered while following physical laws to ensure quality mixing, storage, delivery, and spreading. As Form-U-Share has grown, new features have been added including printing and customizing reports, managing your inventory and customers, orders and billing, chemical reporting and much more.

At FUS Support, we are always looking to the future of Form-U-Share, designing and developing ways to make Form-U-Share more powerful while maintaining the ease of use and installation Form-U-Share is known for having.  Our goal is for Form-U-Share to continually play a larger role in the fertilizer industry.  History information, regulatory reporting, inventory control, and agronomic sales tools are important for all users, regardless of business size.

Form-U-Share has certainly grown over the years.  From Apple II's to AS400 to DOS and Windows, Form-U-Share has been run on almost every platform available.  In 2002 we began distribution of our first Windows version making formulation even easier. At the end of 2003 we distributed a version that could interface with QuickBooks Accounting software.  As we grow, we strive to meet the growing needs of our customers, making us not only recognizable as the formulation software of choice but a product that changes and grows with the needs of your business.
